Key Responsibilities
- Administer AWS-hosted 10ZiG Manager servers, push endpoint profiles (PeakOS, RepurpOS, NOS), handle firmware updates, and convert legacy hardware into thin clients.
- Provision, optimize, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS WorkSpaces, and Omnissa/VMware Horizon environments, including FSLogix profiles, instant clones, and host pools.
- Conduct performance testing, collect logon/latency metrics, and iterate desktop templates based on structured user feedback.
- Partner with ISSOs to apply DISA STIGs across OS templates, AD policies, and cloud resources. Gather technical evidence to support CTO/ATO packages.
- Author CONOPS, SOPs for Tier 1/2 support, technical whitepapers, and cloud cost optimization recommendations.
- Serve as Tier-3 escalation support for the Operations Office and collaborate with the Integration Office to align templates with R&D pipelines.
Mandatory Requirements
- Clearance: Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
Work Arrangement

Certification
- CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II baseline) or equivalent.
Technical Experience
- Hands-on experience administering at least one core VDI platform (AVD, AWS WorkSpaces, or VMware/Omnissa Horizon) and thin-client management tools (e.g., 10ZiG Manager).
Security & Scripting
- Demonstrated proficiency applying DISA STIGs and writing automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Desired Qualifications
- Platform Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect/SysOps Administrator, or VMware/Omnissa VCP-DTM.
- Technical Writing: Track record of producing technical design blueprints, SOPs, and system architecture whitepapers.
