VDC Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Assists with modeling efforts of all trades by coordinating and revising models as needed.
• Creates precise 3D representations of equipment and specialty items to be used in the model.
• Works under the direction of craft team members to assist in other modeling efforts as requested.
• Creates templates to be used for shop drawings that incorporate Waldinger standards.
• Communicates with construction team to keep track of upcoming field drawings needed.
• Produces field drawings incorporating the input from craft team members.
• Produces assembly maps as needed for projects.
• Utilizes the model to create point files to be used for field layout purposes.
• Owes the process of renaming, renumbering, and organizing points and their output files.
• Utilizes site information to create control points needed for field layout.
• Creates point drawings for field to utilize during installation.
• Maintains accurate scheduling and prioritization of activities for assigned workload, recording time, allowing for accurate labor feedback tracking.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of drafting or design experience
• Associate's Degree or Revit/CAD certification
• No Travel
