What You'll Do:
- Perform all essential Entry Level/Field Engineer responsibilities
- Learn BOND's VDC Process and standards and apply them to assigned projects
- Generate models and documents required to complete the scope, as determined with Virtual Design and Construction and project teams
- Administer model maintenance, including incorporating design updates for project-specific requirements
- Analyze construction documents and models for errors and omissions and make corrections as necessary
- Attend meetings and submit updates to management on project status and needs
- Maintain working relationships with subcontractors and project teams
- Support operations and the VDC Manager with the RFI process
- Create and maintain clear, effective project documentation, such as meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs
- Perform regular clash detection and issue tracking, leading efforts to resolve conflicts before construction
- Learn Building and Systems Codes
- Learn Construction Sequences
- Operate a laser scanner and process data
- Complete quantity take-offs
- Develop 4D schedules and prepare simulations
- Assist with materials for business development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience (ideally for a general contractor or construction manager in New England)
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, both internally and externally
- Positive, collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, high level of ownership, organizational skills, controlled sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Strong interest in learning about improvements and advancements in construction-related technology and processes, and in obtaining related certifications
- Demonstrate integrity, respect, and excellence in their work
- Drafting and computer skills required. High technology aptitude desired
- Ability to learn and apply software to the overall VDC process. These include, but are not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, Procore, Trimble’s SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Faro Scene
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs
Benefits:

- The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications
Physical Demands:
- Regularly view a computer screen, sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Frequently stand and walk
- Regularly lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and may lift or move objects up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold) on jobsites
