About the role
VDC QA/QC Manager, Electrical is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes within the electrical division. The role ensures that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage quality assurance and quality control processes for electrical projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on quality assurance and quality control best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control roles.
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and inspection methods.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
