Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM workflows and standards for various construction projects.
- Utilize BIM software and tools to enhance project visualization and improve constructability review process.
- Coordinate and manage 3D modeling efforts for project-specific requirements.
- Participate in design and construction meetings to provide BIM/VDC perspective and input.
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure BIM strategy is aligned with project goals.
- Provide technical support and training for team members on BIM software and methodologies.
- Assist in construction management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate all project designs into a cohesive and comprehensive 3D model.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM/VDC roles in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of building construction and sequencing.
- Basic knowledge of structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and architectural systems.
- Demonstrated experience in 3D coordination and constructability review.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of architectural design and construction management is a plus.
- Certified in BIM Management or related field is desirable.
Pay
$35 - $45 per hour
