About the role
Your impact We are seeking a VDC / BIM Coordinator with deep experience supporting large, complex semiconductor facility design projects. This role is embedded within our Digital Delivery team and is responsible for leading model-based coordination efforts during design, with a strong emphasis on facilitating clash detection workflows and running structured coordination meetings across multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design-phase clash detection and coordination workflows across multi-discipline engineering models (process, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural).
- Plan, facilitate, and run recurring coordination meetings with internal engineering teams, external consultants, clients, and trade partners.
- Agregate and manage federated models, ensuring alignment with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and client standards.
- Identify clashes, design conflicts, and spatial constraints early in the design process, and drive resolution through collaboration with discipline leads.
- Track coordination issues, assign accountability, and monitor resolution progress to maintain design schedules.
- Develop and maintain coordination logs, dashboards, and reporting metrics for project leadership and clients.
- Support model-based design reviews, including constructability, operability, and maintainability considerations.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of company BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and QA/QC procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on BIM best practices and coordination processes.
Key Competencies
- Strong facilitation and coordination leadership within design environments.
- Ability to balance design intent with spatial and systems coordination.
- Proactive issue identification and resolution mindset.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and tracking capabilities.
