VDC 4D Coordinator (Data Center)
About the role
At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good. This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates. Help make 4D a working part of construction planning. We’re looking for a VDC 4D Coordinator who understands construction, enjoys solving problems, and wants to help unify models and schedules to inform strategy and accelerate the re-industrialization of the country. Our team’s ambition is to make 4D as essential to construction planning as clash detection is in coordination. We build simulations that help teams visualize and evaluate sequencing, understand constraints, compare approaches, and prepare for execution. We’re also expanding into 5D, connecting model quantities, schedules, and cost information to support more informed planning. You’ll work across multiple projects, collaborate with an international delivery team, and help improve the tools and processes behind our work. This role combines hands-on production with room to experiment, delivering useful work today while helping us build better ways to deliver it tomorrow.
