Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary:
- Receive, count, verify, and reconcile currency, tickets, and other gaming-related funds.
- Prepare and process daily deposits in accordance with established company procedures and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate records, transaction logs, and documentation for all vault activities.
- Verify cash counts and promptly research and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with slot drop, count, and related gaming revenue procedures as assigned.
- Safeguard cash, gaming funds, financial documents, and other sensitive materials at all times.
- Ensure all vault activities are conducted in compliance with applicable Nevada gaming regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
- Operate cash-counting equipment, vault systems, and other related technology as required.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to vault transactions and cash activity.
- Perform vault audits, cash inventories, and other control procedures as directed.
- Work collaboratively with Accounting, Gaming Operations, Security, and other departments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company financial information and gaming-related activities.
- Immediately report shortages, overages, irregularities, control violations, or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mathematical, cash-handling, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to accurately count and verify large volumes of currency.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under time constraints.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Nevada Gaming registrations and/or licenses.
