Vault Checker Weekend Nights (Part-Time)

About the role

This position involves performing scheduled vault checks to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. The role also includes overseeing entry points, responding to alarms, and maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

- Conduct scheduled vault checks to ensure safety and security. - Monitor entry points and verify the identity of individuals seeking access. - Respond immediately to alarms and investigate disturbances. - Read and respond to emails from supervisors and customers. - Walk 1.5 miles four times during a 12-hour workday. - Drive to other locations during daylight and nighttime hours. - Maintain door checks at a 3-hour rotation schedule. - Use Microsoft Office software and specific government-required software. - Adhere to organizational Operations Security and Information Security requirements. - Obtain and maintain a secret-level security clearance. - Possess effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. - Exercise good judgment to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent. - 1-2 years of experience in an office setting. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and general computer operation. - Working knowledge of answering phones and greeting visitors. - Additional preferred qualifications include experience with security regulations and a good driving record.

Qualifications

- Resume submitted with job application required. - Current/active secret-level security clearance mandatory. - Authorized for coverage under agency insurance for operating agency vehicles. - Good driving record and valid driver’s license. - Adequate ability to communicate in spoken conversation, writing, and mathematics. - Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships. - Analytical and multi-tasking skills. - Ability to independently mobilize on all surfaces and in all situations. - Adequate ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and textures. - Physical stamina to work at least 12 hours per day. - Stable work behaviors daily. - Adequate individual coping skills. - Good work attendance. - Ability to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions. - Ability to exercise good judgment to maintain a safe work environment.
