Vault Cashier

About the role

The Vault Cashier is responsible for processing cash transactions within a secure area, ensuring accuracy in handling, counting and distributing money.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank deposits, receive and verify gaming revenues.
• Safeguard and maintain bankrolls.
• Quickly and accurately disburse internal banks.
• Accurately receipt and disburse Pit and Slot area fills and credits.
• Complete data entry in Micros accounting system, perform paper back-up.
• Complete paperwork reconciliations for accounting.
• Perform simple functions required to correct various problems to keep machinery running.

Qualifications

• Must be able to maintain a valid license with the Gaming Control Board.
• Previous money-handing experience with demonstrated ability to balance a bankroll.
• Ten-key by touch.
• Able to handle complex transactions and multitask.
• Able to self-audit and locate monetary variances.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
