Vascular Technician

Role Overview

This position performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams to identify abnormalities, supporting patient diagnosis under physician supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute ultrasound protocols with technical proficiency.
• Schedule, prepare, and educate patients for exams, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Coordinate with medical staff and communicate patient needs throughout procedures.
• Document results accurately, apply appropriate charge codes, and maintain equipment and work area.
• Mentor team members and students, support quality improvement initiatives, and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications & Skills

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in sonography, digital tools, clinical care, and patient instruction.
• Strong time management, risk management, and healthcare communication skills.
