About the role
We are seeking a Registered Vascular Tech to perform advanced ultrasound imaging for vascular disease diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations such as arterial and venous duplex scans, aortoiliac, renal, mesenteric duplex, dialysis access, and vein mapping.
- Educate patients on procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Ensure patient safety during exams, monitor their condition, and respond to any changes.
- Position patients, analyze imaging results, and address quality issues.
- Communicate patient status and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience; 3+ years in vascular imaging preferred.
- Current RVT certification through ARDMS; BLS certification required.
- Experience with EPIC, sterile procedures, and vascular surgery settings is a plus.
- Preferred: RPhS certification and bilingual skills in Spanish.
