Vascular Surgery Physician

About the Role

OSF Saint Anthony has an exceptional opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon to join a busy vascular practice and growing team. You will join an experienced and vibrant team of vascular surgeons supported by 3 APPs in a collegial work environment with great leadership support. The role includes call coverage for Saint Anthony Medical Center at a 1:4 ratio and potential for an academic appointment through the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford Campus.

You will have access to a Hybrid OR and a noninvasive vascular lab, with the potential to participate in a vein program.

Responsibilities

• Perform open and endovascular procedures
• Provide patient care aligned with preferences, goals, and needs
• Participate in call coverage for Saint Anthony Medical Center

Requirements

• Doctorate (MD/DO)
• Licensed to practice medicine in the current state
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
• Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Vascular Surgery post-residency/fellowship
• Interest in participating in a vein program

Pay

Full-time clinical base salary pay range for this position: $600,000–700,000. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by factors including critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components such as bonuses or incentives may apply.
