Responsibilities

• First assist in vascular surgery.
• Outpatient clinic coverage.
• Inpatient rounding and consults.
• Function across clinic follow-up, consultative, rounding, and operative support responsibilities.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with eligibility for practice in New York.
• For Nurse Practitioner candidates, RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) is required for first-assist responsibilities.
• Vascular surgery experience preferred; strong general surgery or other first-assist experience will also be considered.
• New graduates may be considered based on fit, professionalism, work ethic, and interest in a surgical practice environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and a collaborative, team-first approach to patient care.
