Atrium Health Navicent is recruiting an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to join the Atrium Health Navicent Vascular Surgery team in Central Georgia. We are seeking a motivated APP to meet the highest standards of care and partner in providing evidence-based care in a premier, highly respected environment. Candidates should be forward-thinking with a dedication to excellence. Familiarity with Vascular and Endovascular procedures is a plus.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, the second largest hospital in Georgia, is a 637-bed, American College of Surgeons verified Level One trauma center and the teaching program for Mercer University School of Medicine. It features an STS 3-star Heart and Vascular Center with cardiac catheterization labs, dedicated state-of-the-art operating rooms, hybrid OR/Cath lab, EP lab, CVICU, and a cardiac rehabilitation center, all staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled APPs, nurses, and support personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based, safe care in a premier inpatient environment.
  • Demonstrate competence in practice settings with a high degree of accuracy to reduce errors in patient care.
  • Work irregular schedules based on patient needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and obtain required continuing education units (CEUs) each renewal period.

Requirements

For Nurse Practitioners

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN and APRN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated competence in practice setting.

For Physician Assistants

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current license to practice in the State of Georgia and Board Certified in specialty.
  • Demonstrated competence in practice setting.
