About the role
This position is for a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon providing inpatient care during a locum tenens assignment. The surgeon will perform daily rounds, manage post-operative vascular patients, handle emergency surgeries, and oversee consults and referrals within an acute care facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage on-site
- Conduct post-op care and emergency interventions
- Manage all age groups and vascular cases
- Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency department
Requirements
- Board certification in Vascular Surgery
- Ability to work on-site and handle 24-hour call
- Experience with inpatient vascular care and emergency procedures
No prescriptive authority required.
