Vascular Surgeon - Locum Tenens

Seeking a Board-Certified MD for inpatient vascular surgery coverage in a full-service acute care hospital. Provide inpatient vascular surgery care during one five-day period each month, starting from January 2027.Offer 24-hour call coverage with a call ratio of 5, managing approximately 10-15 adult patients daily.Handle surgical cases and consults from inpatient units and emergency department.Prescriptive authority required; on-site facility with resources to support patient care. Qualifications And Skills Board certification in relevant specialty.Experience in vascular surgery, managing adult patient populations.Ability to perform surgical procedures and provide consults.Comfort with call duties, callbacks averaging about 1 hour. Key Duties Inpatient surgical patient management.Responding to emergency and inpatient consults.Providing comprehensive vascular care on a 24-hour call basis.
