Vascular Surgeon

About the Role

Part-time vascular surgeon position with a national wound physician group, offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility. Work in a mobile practice visiting skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals within a 40–60 mile radius of Oshkosh, WI. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities.
• Perform clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in Wisconsin.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time role.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday (7:00 AM–4:00 PM), 4–5 days per week.
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (same hours).
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.

Pay

Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. Part-time compensation is prorated based on hours worked.

Practice Overview

Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings. The role involves visiting multiple facilities per day within a defined radius, with a focus on clinical excellence and work-life balance. Routine workweek for full-time positions is approximately 45 hours.
