About the role
Join CommonSpirit Memorial Vascular Surgery Specialists as a Vascular Surgeon in Chattanooga, Tennessee. You will practice within a collaborative medical staff supported by a strong regional referral network, focusing on diagnosing and treating a wide range of arterial and venous diseases, performing surgical procedures, managing patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of arterial and venous diseases, including peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, and venous insufficiency.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures.
- Manage all aspects of patient care, from initial consultation and diagnosis through pre-operative workup, surgical intervention, and post-operative follow-up.
- Provide comprehensive wound care for complex vascular-related wounds.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other specialists to ensure integrated patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a fully accredited Vascular Surgeon Fellowship program.
- Board-Certified / Board-Eligible.
- Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA in the state of Tennessee and/or Georgia.
- AHA ACLS certification.
