Vascular Surgeon
About the role
The Division of Vascular Surgery at Creighton University Medical Center is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join an established high volume group encompassing a wide breadth of vascular surgical cases in the setting of a large established referral base in conjunction with our Department of Surgery and Cardiovascular Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical excellence in restoring patients' lives
- Participate in scholarly/educational activities at the level of Assistant to Associate Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine
- Work in an academic and teaching environment, educating Creighton University’s surgical residents and medical students
- Conduct research in collaboration with scientists within CommonSpirit and Creighton University School of Medicine
- Report to the Chair of Surgery at Creighton University and CHI Health
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery
- Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
- Strong clinical skills with experience in programmatic development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
