Vascular Access Specialist

About the role
The territory will cover the San Francisco, CA and Reno, Nevada area. This candidate should reside in Sacramento, CA.
Responsibilities
- Consistently drive sales of Vascular Access Safety IV Products.
- Maintain and grow current sales of Introcan Safety IV Catheters and assigned Vascular Access products to meet corporate growth objectives.
- Work with varying Hospital sales specialties to qualify new leads and advance the sales process.
- General duties include taking reasonable care for the safety and health of oneself and others while at work.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-4 years of related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification required.
- Valid RN license.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Must comply with Healthcare Customers' requirements, including vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19, seasonal influenza, Hepatitis B Virus).
- Must register with vendor credentialing organizations, complete required processes, and undergo clearances (e.g., national criminal background check, drug screening).

- Basic knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in the professional field.
- Ability to use standard theories, principles, and concepts to propose a course of action.
- Works under general supervision, relying on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
- Judgment required for resolving day-to-day problems.
- Contacts primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers; occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Physical Demands
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
- Occasionally: Reaching upward and downward, pushing/pulling, standing, climbing stairs/ladders, walking.
- Frequently: Sitting, using hands to handle or feel, hearing (ordinary and loud), seeing (depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision), talking (ordinary and loud/quick).
- Must be able to perform essential functions in an office environment with moderate noise intensity.
Pay
Salary: $90,000-$105,000 (plus incentive compensation).
