Varsity Boys Head Basketball Coach

General Description

The Head Boys Basketball Coach is responsible for leading and developing the varsity basketball program while fostering an environment that promotes athletic excellence, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship. The coach will provide instruction in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical preparation necessary for student-athletes to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team success.

Minimum Qualifications (Required Upon Hire)

• At least two years of Head Coaching experience
• Completion of Safe Environment Training through the Diocese of Phoenix
• Completion of all required NFHS coaching courses
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Must be a certified teacher or hold current NFHS coaching certification
