Varsity Assistant Swim Coaches (2 Positions)

About the role

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks part-time Varsity Assistant Swim Coaches for the 2026-2027 Winter season. These part-time, seasonal, stipended positions begin on November 3, 2026 and end on February 26, 2027, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. The season includes a Thanksgiving break and several other holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend practices and meets.
• Embrace the unique role of athletics in an independent school setting.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Effectively manage relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the four competitive strokes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with competitive swimming.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Collegiate swim experience is a plus.

Pay

Rate of Pay: $5,750.00 for the indoor season (November 3, 2026 - February 26, 2027).

Schedule

• Practices occur on weekdays with times varying between 2:45 and 5:45 PM.
• Approximately 8 meets which may last beyond 5:45 PM.
• Season runs November 3, 2026 - February 26, 2027, with planning and communication outside of the season required.
• Includes a Thanksgiving break and several other holidays.
