Varsity Assistant Football Coach

About the role

The Varsity Assistant Football Coach position at Liberty County High School is a classified support role within the Liberty County School District. The successful candidate will assist the head coach in developing and implementing the team's offensive and defensive strategies, providing leadership and mentorship to student athletes, and ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and executing game strategies
• Mentor and develop student athletes
• Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations
• Work closely with the head coach and other staff members
• Attend all home and away games

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in coaching, education, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience working with student athletes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of football rules and regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Pass a background check

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary range: $35,000 - $45,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
