Potential need for various research positions to provide support for our government customer in San Antonio, TX. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a CAC card.
Clinical Molecular Research/Laboratory Technologist and Clinical Molecular Research Scientist
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, biology, cell biology, chemistry, microbiology, or related disciplines); Master's preferred.
- Five (5) to 10 years recent laboratory experience, preferably within the last six (6) years, that includes performing various molecular biological and/or protein analysis techniques.
- Certification as Medical Laboratory Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certifying Agency is recommended.
Biomedical Research Associate
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences or a closely related field; Master's preferred.
- Five years' experience conducting small/large animal surgeries.
- Proven expertise in working with biological specimens and animal tissue.
- Must successfully complete American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) training and remain current.
- Must have completed Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) training and remain current.
Program Manager
- Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration or Business.
- 3-5 years' experience in clinical research project management and increasing leadership duties; or Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration with 1-2 years' experience in clinical research and project management.
Senior Research Scientist (PhD)
- PhD in the biological sciences (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, biology, cell biology, microbiology, toxicology, pharmacology, or related disciplines).
- 8-10 years' minimum relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in working with human or animal specimens.
- Must successfully complete AALAS accreditation training for working with laboratory animals and remain current.
- Must successfully complete and maintain CITI training.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience directly related to the assigned biological laboratory and/or conducting small/large animal surgeries.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience leading and/or supervising laboratory personnel and activities.
- Operational knowledge of advanced lab equipment.
- Working knowledge of computing equipment to include physiological data acquisition and analysis.
