About the role

First-level vocational position accountable for technical work involving the least complex equipment operation and maintenance. Employees may also be responsible for:

• Repairing traffic signals
• Installing and maintaining signs
• Applying herbicide, pesticide, and snow and ice chemicals
• Striping
• Traffic control
• Pothole patching
• Responding to natural and man-made disasters

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• In some cases, experience may be substituted for education
