VAN DRIVER WAREHOUSE
About the role
The Van Driver / Warehouse Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring that CES's customers receive consistent high-quality service. This position involves driving safely, maintaining vehicle safety, and supporting both delivery and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Check in and put up stock.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Pull orders for deliveries.
- Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
- Aid in counting during Stock Take.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Requirements
This position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
Experience in warehouse operations and/or delivery services is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is beneficial. Knowledge of basic warehouse management systems is helpful.
