VAN DRIVER WAREHOUSE
About the role
The Van Driver / Warehouse Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring that CES's customer delivery and warehouse operations run smoothly. This position requires a combination of driving skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Check in and put up stock.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Pull orders for deliveries.
- Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
- Aid in counting during Stock Take.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to customer service. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are beneficial.
