VAN DRIVER WAREHOUSE
About the role
The Van Driver / Warehouse Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of customer delivery and warehouse operations are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Check in and put up stock.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Pull orders for deliveries.
- Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
- Aid in counting during Stock Take.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Requirements
Essential requirements include a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is preferred.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
