About the role
The Van Driver / Warehouse Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring that CES's customers receive consistent high-quality service. This position involves driving safely, maintaining vehicle safety, and supporting both delivery and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Check in and put up stock.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Pull orders for deliveries.
- Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
- Aid in counting during Stock Take.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience operating a commercial vehicle.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations.
Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
