VAN DRIVER WAREHOUSE
About the role
The Van Driver / Warehouse Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring that CES's customers receive exceptional service and that the company's operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Check in and put up stock.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Pull orders for deliveries.
- Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
- Aid in counting during Stock Take.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Requirements
Essential requirements include a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is helpful but not mandatory.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Basic computer skills are also beneficial.
