VAN DRIVER WAREHOUSE
About the role
The Van Driver / Warehouse Employee plays a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of customer delivery and warehouse operations are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Check in and put up stock.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Pull orders for deliveries.
- Back up counter staff with orders and customers.
- Aid in counting during Stock Take.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
Requirements
Essential requirements include a valid driver's license, good physical condition, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a warehouse environment or driving is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is helpful but not mandatory.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Basic computer skills are also beneficial.
