The Van Driver/Warehouse position is responsible for all aspects of customer delivery including packing orders for delivery, mapping delivery routes, handling delivery paperwork, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the delivery vehicle and maintenance records. The role also involves warehouse functions such as receiving material, maintaining warehouse organization, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders, and working with other branches to ensure consistent service across the network.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and follow all traffic regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Check in and put away stock.
• Help maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Pull orders for deliveries.
• Back up counter employees with orders and customers at the counter.
• Assist in counting during stock takes.
• Communicate customer feedback to the Branch Manager.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds.
