About the Role

We’re hiring a Preschool Bus Driver who’s passionate about kids and ready to join our crew of childcare superstars! If you love working with children and have experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education, this is your chance to drive smiles and create safe, joyful journeys for our preschoolers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport our little learners to and from school, ensuring every ride is a happy, secure adventure.
• Inspect your bus daily to ensure it’s safe and ready for the road.
• Follow state rules and regulations to keep kids secure during every trip.
• Maintain a clean, fueled-up vehicle and a professional look that aligns with our dress code.
• Create a positive, enriching environment on the bus with appropriate music and words.
• Monitor behavior, document any concerns, and keep the director in the loop to maintain a smooth ride.
• Greet authorized pick-ups with a smile, ensuring safe handoffs every time.
• Stay on top of certifications, licenses, and paperwork to keep compliance in check.
• Attend trainings, staff meetings, and parent events to stay connected with our community.
• Be a team player, jumping into teacher or assistant duties when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Meets all state preschool and bus driver requirements.
• Qualifies under Cadence Education’s insurance underwriting standards.
• Current CPR & First Aid certifications.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education (preferred).

Pay

Hourly pay range: $15.90 - $18.90
