Van Driver - No Experience Needed - Training Provided

Walk-in interviews: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 4791 Avonia Rd, Fairview, PA 16415. No appointment or experience required.

About the role

All applicants begin as a Driver in Training. Upon successful completion of the training program and all necessary requirements, you will be placed in a Non-CDL Driver role. We devote significant resources to training and development, ensuring our drivers are the best-trained in the business.

Pay

$16.50/hour with a $2,000 hiring bonus for Van Drivers (details available on-site). Guaranteed 4.5 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation by operating a school bus or other location-specific vehicle with a fixed or changing route.
• Exhibit high ethical standards, personal integrity, and report suspicious or inappropriate behavior to supervisors.
• Report to duty on time and maintain route schedules safely.
• Assist passengers in vehicle evacuation during emergencies.
• Immediately report any accidents or incidents per Company policy.
• Follow Company Policy for student and passenger management.
• Inform appropriate personnel of problems or procedures.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Complete required paperwork (e.g., route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) and submit it in a timely manner.
• Maintain a cooperative attitude with employees, supervisors, customers, and passengers while promoting company goodwill.
• Safely and efficiently use vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities may apply for Paratransit Drivers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age (25 for Tennessee School Bus Drivers per state law).
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain all valid applicable state licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training.
• Must practice defensive driving at all times and avoid vehicular and industrial accidents.
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, county, district, and contract-specific Driver requirements.
