Primary Responsibilities
- Must be capable of following all shop procedures and safety rules without exception
- Must be capable of consistently and accurately identifying valve types
- Must be able to calibrate test gauges
- Capable of consistently and accurately reading precision measuring tools, and operating valve shop equipment: drill presses, band saws, test stands
- Capable of reading & understanding drawings and repair manuals
- Capable of troubleshooting and providing failure analysis on valve repairs
- Capable of performing valve repairs, documenting and calibrating Conventional PSV, Pilot PSV, PRD or Control Valves and Hydro Tests
- Capable of drawing detailed sketches of various valve parts when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2- 5 years in Valve Tech Positions
- Relief valve experience required
