Valve Tech- Relief Valve

Primary Responsibilities

• Must be capable of following all shop procedures and safety rules without exception
• Must be capable of consistently and accurately identifying valve types
• Must be able to calibrate test gauges
• Capable of consistently and accurately reading precision measuring tools, and operating valve shop equipment: drill presses, band saws, test stands
• Capable of reading & understanding drawings and repair manuals
• Capable of troubleshooting and providing failure analysis on valve repairs
• Capable of performing valve repairs, documenting and calibrating Conventional PSV, Pilot PSV, PRD or Control Valves and Hydro Tests
• Capable of drawing detailed sketches of various valve parts when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2- 5 years in Valve Tech Positions
• Relief valve experience required
