About the role
Join our dynamic team as a hands-on problem solver with a knack for quality workmanship. In this role, you'll build practical component kits and assembly designs by following technical instructions and constructing a diverse range of products. Your expertise in discerning the quality of parts and materials will ensure our products are top-notch. You'll inventory and maintain parts and tools, keep your workspace clean and organized, and check incoming and outgoing products for defects.
Responsibilities
- Follow technical instructions and technical terms
- Assemble a wide range of products based on written instructions
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
- Examine finished products for conformance
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
- Follow company procedures and directives
- Maintain the tools used to assemble products
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D., preferred
- Experience in a production/assembly environment, distribution or related field required
- Quality control experience in a production/assembly environment, preferred
- Experience using hand tools (Crimpers a plus)
- Sustain long-term attention to detail
- Role-related accuracy and task follow-through
- Ability to sit at a desk and work for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and/or move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in areas with loud noise levels
- Ability to clearly communicate regarding work instructions
- Basic computer skills
