About the role
A Validation Test Engineer is needed to help qualify automated functional test systems and support troubleshooting. The role involves developing and maintaining validation documentation, executing verification and validation testing, documenting results, and managing deviations.
Responsibilities
- Write all required documentation (requirements, trace matrix, protocols, reports using Medtronic templates)
- Execute validations
- Work closely with internal resources to write code for the testers
- Help assemble the hardware side of the tester
- Qualify automated functional test systems and support troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain validation documentation (including requirements, trace matrices, test protocols, and reports)
- Document results of verification and validation testing
- Manage deviations to ensure compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product testing and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in verification/validation testing, preferably in medical devices or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with automated test systems and documentation best practices
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
