Validation Specialist
Job Description
This individual contributor role is a member of the Life Science Validation Team as a Quality Assurance/Operations support role. The position will support validation-related processes for new and existing facilities, system implementations and packaging equipment.
- Create documents within the eQMS and assign them to appropriate personnel
- Database entry
- Processing equipment shipments to facilities
- Use team project management tools to manage due dates and provide team/manager communications
- Auxiliary/execute protocols
- Cook with multiple cross-functional teams to coordinate tasks
- Participate in QA-led presentations, groups, training, as needed
- Provide training to site QA and other cross-functional teams on validation related topics
- Track time on tasks for project work, submit to supervisor on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred
- Certification related to quality control (RAC, Six-Sigma, etc.), preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment such as DEA, FDA, Health Canada, etc., preferred
- Logistics Industry experience, preferred
- 1-3 years Training administration is a regulated environment, preferred
- Problem solving skills (Root Cause Analysis), preferred
- Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software, required
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good facilitation and presentation skills, required
- Ability to input data, analyze data, and create reports, required
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage people, required
- Ability to manage projects; detail oriented, required
- Ability to think and work independently with minimum direction, required
- Ability to interpret and learn technical material to accomplish objectives, required
Qualifications

Pay
The national salary range for this role is $55,000 - $90,000. For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with office work in Mechanicsburg, PA area and national travel 50-60%.
