Job description & typical task breakdown

• Support testing and validation of large mining equipment.
• Validate software and control system functionalities through system-level testing.
• Execute requirements-based test validation.
• Work closely with mechanics, instrumentation technicians, and operators.

Duties & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document machine-level software testing.
• Collaborate daily with engineers, mechanics, operators, instrumentation technicians, supply chain, and logistics teams.
• Work within a team comprising team leaders, senior engineers, and junior engineers.
• Operate in a hybrid environment with 20% office work and 80% shop/field activities.
• Follow safety requirements and use PPE, including boots, safety glasses, and uniforms.

Education & experience

• Years of experience: 1-2 years
• Degree requirement: B.S. engineering

Pay

The pay range for this role is $70,000 – $95,000 USD per year (Tucson).
