About the role
Develop comprehensive test plans for processor interface validation, focusing on electrical and functional aspects. Execute electrical and functional test plans using hardware and software validation tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. Debug electrical and functional issues in new processors, providing detailed analysis and solutions. Contribute to platform definition and review of platform designs used in silicon validation processes. Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced engineers and technicians in processor validation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5-7 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing platform-level electrical and functional test plans.
- Experience with platform-level electrical characterization of processor I/O interfaces is preferred.
- Strong skills in debugging processor and PC platform I/O interfaces, reading schematics, and layout documentation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and management.
