About the role

Responsible for managing the daily trash collection operations in residential areas. Duties include driving a garbage truck, sorting recyclables, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a garbage truck to collect household waste and recyclables
• Sort recyclables and ensure proper disposal
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents and other city staff
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues to supervisors

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in similar roles preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass a background check and drug test
