Valet Parking Attendant

About the role

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a Valet Parking Attendant to join their team. This position is PRN (Per Request Not Scheduled), with schedules varying but typically including 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri 4:30 - 8:30pm, every other Saturday 4:30pm-8:30pm and every other Sunday 10:30am-2:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform pick-up and delivery of members for all scheduled campus activities.
• Greet members and guests by name upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
• Retrieve and replace walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids as necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of Cypress vehicles, both inside and out.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are in good working order.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid driver's license with a "clean" driving record.
• Previous valet experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and respond respectfully to others.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and to walk or jog on a hilly plane to park and retrieve vehicles.
