About the role

Parking and retrieval of guest vehicles upon arrival and departure from the property.

Responsibilities

• Parks guests cars upon arrival
• Retrieves guest’s cars upon departure
• Answers any questions upon arrival
• Provides the highest level of guest service
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the property
• Trains new team members (Valet Attendants only)
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to operate various motor vehicles
• Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission
• Ability to perform basic math functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
• Understands and complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job-related issues
• Learns specific job duties and completes work assignments; maintains knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
• Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; withstand various temperature changes; withstand high frequency noises, sounds, and tones
• Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in operating various motor vehicles and vehicles with manual transmissions
• Valid Michigan Driver’s license
