Valet Driver - Part Time, Casino (Caesars New Orleans)

About the role

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is a destination property in the heart of the city, dedicated to delivering extraordinary experiences for guests. As a Valet Driver / Parker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have a memorable arrival and departure experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives vehicles from guests and fills out parking tickets.
• Parks vehicle in correct area and gives key and ticket to Valet Booth Attendant for filing.
• Retrieves car from area and returns key to guest.
• Handles guests' vehicles safely and cautiously at all times.
• Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
• Maintains attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• High school or GED required.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license.
• Previous valet parking experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with abilities to express oneself professionally.
• Able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• A well-groomed appearance.
• Flexible with scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside casino in varying temperatures.
• Ability to run on level surface, as well as up and down ramps and stairs.
• Drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmission in a safe and timely fashion.
• Able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Skills

Essential skills include excellent communication, teamwork, and safety awareness. Flexibility and a positive attitude are also highly valued.
