Valet Cashier

About the role

A Valet Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional, courteous, reliable and efficient guest service while accurately processing valet transactions in a hospitality environment in accordance with property service standards. This role serves as the primary contact for guests and valet operations, ensuring smooth and accurate ticket processing, timely vehicle retrieval communication, and proper handling of all credit card or debit payments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the parking and retrieval of vehicles
• Maintaining security of keys in an orderly manner to ensure efficient retrieval of guest's vehicles
• Greeting all patrons and responding to their questions
• Ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees
• Knowledge of all special events and promotions available to guests
• Complying with all uniform and appearance guidelines
• Performing all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• Casino/Hotel experience preferred
• Experience within an upscale hotel preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Bell Attendant, Valet or related position is preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Schedule flexibility including evenings, weekends, holiday shifts and overtime, as needed
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
• 5 years of safe driving experience in vehicle
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

Pay

Wage - $8.63 per hour plus tips

Additional Requirements

Requires seldom sitting, kneeling, lifting/carrying of 51-100 lbs.; occasional bending, reaching, and crouching. Also requires copying & writing of numbers, eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity as well as the ability to distinguish letters, symbols and currency. Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
