Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting each member with a smile;
- accepting vehicles and driving the cars between the valet loop and the valet parking lot;
- keeping track of times that club visitors will be returning to their vehicles;
- running between the valet loop and back parking lot to retrieve cars in a timely manner;
- carefully driving through a congested parking lot with safety being the primary concern;
- diffusing member conflict situations with tact and professionalism;
- communicating timely and following up as appropriate;
- cleaning and maintaining the parking lot;
- supporting other departments in downtime;
- participating in events, programs, meetings, and training;
- representing the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
Requirements
- Valid, current driver’s license required; clean driving record;
- minimum three years of driving experience; safely drive a manual transmission vehicle;
- minimum of one year customer service experience;
- excellent customer service attitude and abilities; professional and friendly manner;
- enthusiastic, responsible and dependable team player;
- self-motivated, takes initiative; willing to acquire new skills;
- well organized and detail oriented.
Qualifications
- Skills & Knowledge: Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the general public. Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to stand for extended periods; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The Associate is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
