Special Education Assistant position at Valencia High School within the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year, 5 days per week
• 3.75 hours per day
• Shift hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; Wednesday 10:50 a.m. – 2:35 p.m.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $23.11 – $28.17

Requirements

• Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Completion of 48 units of college coursework
  • AA degree or higher
  • Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA)
• Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial showing minimum 48 college units) or ESSA test results required
• Current resume
• At least two references must be provided on the application
• Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan

Testing
