Vactor Mfg. Inc - 3rd shift CNC Machinist starting at $31.22/hr.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining centers, such as mills and lathes
- Make and revise CNC programs
- Perform set-ups on all machines
- Learn processes such as drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring, and turning
- Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
- Run deburring equipment
- Use fixtures to produce parts
- Maintain a clean, safe workplace
- Commit to overtime when needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years CNC machine operation experience and knowledge
- Able to operate conventional machines (e.g., engine lathe, Bridgeport, turret lathe, radial drill press)
- Able to learn CNC programming software
- Proficient in reading blueprints
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Capable of working in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting)
