Job Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machining centers, such as mills and lathes
  • Make and revise CNC programs
  • Perform set-ups on all machines
  • Learn processes such as drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring and turning
  • Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Maintain equipment and basic troubleshoot
  • Run deburring equipment
  • Use fixtures to produce parts
  • Maintain a clean, safe workplace
  • Overtime commitment when needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years CNC machine operation experience and knowledge
  • Able to operate conventional machines such as engine lathe, Bridgeport, turret lathe, and radial drill press
  • Able to learn CNC programming software
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting)
